The Apple Tree is the family we choose!

It is our family, friends, people who care for us, pets, things, and places we love. It is what makes us feel loved, happy, safe and what comforts us when we are scared or sad.

Our mission is to honor and respect the choices each person makes and to honor the people who are there to care and advocate when needed.

Honoring Choices

Supporting individuals of all abilities in understanding their choices on team development and the choice of their apple tree

Advocacy

Promoting a culture of choice and guardianship alternatives and educating people on the rights of others

Support

Providing resources to caregivers that increase their ability to continue caring for those they love in a holistic manner

About Presta and The Apple Tree Project

Located in Milliken, Colorado, Presta is a company that was created to support and honor caregivers of all walks of life and develop a system to educate and champion the choices of people of all abilities.

The Apple Tree Project is a concept that came from a desire to understand and cope with grief. When looking at loss and how to move forward from that, we discovered that sometimes the family we choose is the most important support a person can have. Each person’s Apple Tree is the structure that can champion us through amazing experiences and hold our hand during times of sadness and fears. Our Apple Tree makes us stronger and it is our choice on what it is made of.

Through exploring guardianship alternatives, education, and developing a support system for all caregivers, Presta feels that each person’s Apple Tree can be the source for success and care.

Join us for Greeley Pride-June 28th. 2025

Join Presta at Aims Community College on June 28th, 2025 to celebrate Greeley Pride! We will have coloring sheets created by individuals with disabilities and information on support and resources for all people. See you there!

Fun at Johnstown BBQ Days

On June 7, 2025, Presta supported the town of Johnstown, Colorado, during the annual BBQ Days Parade. We saw a lot of amazing families on the parade route and had a blast!
